DEPARTURE FESTIVAL

The project explores how a visual design system can guide audiences through a large-scale cultural event. Inspired by airport navigation, I developed an aviation-based graphic language that creates clarity, movement, and a smooth festival experience.

BRANDING

The design explored icons and typography as metaphors for tickets to the stars, turning symbols into constellations and type into wayfinding that guided the audience like airport signage.

MOODBOARD

Each post shows personal items going through airport security, inviting fans to guess who they belong to before the final reveal of the artist preparing for departure.

DEPARTURE MERCH

The merch line drew inspiration from FIFA-style team jerseys, merging sports culture with creative identity. Departure Festival was built around three pillars — Festival, Conference, and Giving Back — representing a community where music, art, comedy, and tech come together.

Each team reflects a side of the experience: Festival for culture and energy, Conference for ideas and innovation, and Giving Back for purpose and community.
